Pixelismus by Nil Yalter / David Apikian / Nicole Croiset . 1996

Installation : Interactive CD-ROM and paintings on canvas. Pixelismus is a digital installation which takes its origin in the Byzantine church of the Chora in Istanbul. The interactions of the mosaic and the pixel and the theoretical texts of Kasimir Malevitch build up the principal axis of the work.
